This Cookie Policy should be read with our Privacy Policy (https://starcore.live/privacy). It explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our websites and the Service.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an application. Similar technologies include local storage and identifiers. They help websites work, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the service is used.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (always on).
Required for the Service to function — for example, to authenticate you, keep you logged in during a session, and protect security. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality, and we do not need consent for them.

2.2 Functional / preference cookies.
Remember choices you make (such as language or interface settings) to improve your experience.

2.3 Analytics / performance cookies (consent-based).
Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We use PostHog (EU Cloud) for product analytics. These cookies are set only where you have given consent, and the data may be processed in the European Union (see Clause 4).

2.4 No advertising cookies.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or to sell your data.

3. Third Parties That May Set Cookies

  • PostHog (EU Cloud) — product analytics, where you consent.
  • Razorpay — may set cookies during payment/checkout to process transactions securely.

These third parties process data under their own terms and our agreements with them.

4. Cross-Border Note

Our analytics provider, PostHog, processes analytics data on servers in the European Union. Any such transfer is carried out in accordance with Section 16 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Managing Your Cookie Choices

5.1 We present a cookie banner so you can accept or decline non-essential (analytics/functional) cookies. Non-essential cookies are set only after you consent, and you can change your choice at any time.

5.2 You can also control cookies through your browser settings — including blocking or deleting them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.

6. How Long Cookies Last

  • Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them. Durations vary by cookie and purpose; analytics identifiers are retained no longer than necessary and in line with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will be reflected in our consent banner.
